Financial Demographics
Our Parish today is a thriving one due to strong lay leadership in the area of finance and management of God’s gifts provided through stewardship, philanthropy and investment. Our 2015 total operating budget stands at $614,000. Our stewardship pledge commitments for 2015 amounts to $ 536,000 based on around 227 pledge units on a total membership of 588 persons. Our average Sunday attendance is 172 persons but ebbs and flows with the season peaking as high as 389 with seasonal members and visitors over the three services on any given Sunday.
We also hold our annual bazaar and auction that has generated as much as $150,000 per annum in recent years that goes directly back into the broader community through our focused outreach programs. Our total investment portfolio today stands around $ 2.5 million through its various entities as managed by our experienced Finance Committee. Over the past 12 years this has consistently positioned our parish in the top five parishes in the diocese. We are a “fair share” contributor to the diocese. We are well positioned for the future with our continuing management of God’s gifts.
