Thank you for visiting our website and we hope to see you in person soon!
We are guided in the Episcopal Church by Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and thankful that, by virtue of our baptism, we have become part of the body of Christ.
In that body, the Church, we promise to “continue in the apostle’s teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of the bread and in the prayers” (Acts 2:42). Our baptismal covenant begins with the same words, intentionally, to keep us grounded in Scripture, Tradition, and Reason.
At the Church of the Good Shepherd, you will find all of this and more: the breaking of the bread (both worship and fellowship), teaching, and prayer, for these are central to our common life.
Come and explore the faith with us.
Come, to find a church not just to attend, but to belong.
Come, find a church in which to serve, to grow, to share.
Come! All are welcome.
If you would like to speak to me about faith or about the church, please call the church office—828-743-2359.
Blessings and Peace!
Father Rob Wood+
